20 Years! Twenty consecutive years is a long time for any group to meet. But throw in a round-trip drive of 6-18 hours and/or a flight depending on where you're coming from, add a $399 price tag and the opportunity to be verbally abused for your snoring and your golf swing (or lack of one), and it's downright miraculous that the Old Guys Golf Outing is still going strong. This fall we celebrate the 20th anniversary of our outing with a trip to one of northern Michigan's fabled golf getaways, Garland Resort.
With four of the most beautiful and spectacular championship golf courses in the nation, Garland offers guests an exceptional golfing experience. The natural backdrop of 3,500 acres of unspoiled wilderness provides the perfect setting for our four courses - Fountains, Swampfire, Monarch, and Reflections. Each hole has its own unique character and design including rolling-meadows, lakes, streams, mature hardwoods, and dramatic elevation changes. To add to the golfing experience, the sights and sounds of natural wildlife abound including nesting bald eagles, deer and foxes. Plus with all courses starting from a single pro shop, we’ll spend more time on the course!
All the usual fun is expected, including our traditional steak dinner, skins on every round, the Hi-Lo Doubles Challenge, and (potentially) a trip or two to the casino. Once again, we are limiting entries to 28 this year, so please don't wait to reserve your spot with just a $99 deposit.
